Hello Travels and fans of Pokemon Go! This week I'm going to start a new series of posts dedicated to one of my favourite games, Pokemon Go. Why I choose this? Because this game allows you to have fun while playing it and also you have to travel to complete the game (in the legal way...). Even if you aren't a fan o Pokemon Go, you can stick around to have the same tips that I used to do write before. The only difference is that, since there is regional Pokemon that you can only get in certain parts of the world, I'm going to choose one country of that region and write about with some features of Pokemon Go! I decided to start with Mr. Mime which is my regional Pokémon. But I live in Portugal, and since I all ready have some posts about Portugal, I choose United Kingdom. One of the countries that I'm whiling to go in the future! Let's resume a bit this queen jewel country! United Kingdom, officially the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, is an island sovereign state, Located in front of the north-west coast of the European continent. The United Kingdom includes an island of Brittany, a north-east of Ireland island, in addition to other smaller islands. Northern Ireland is a unique part of the United Kingdom with a land border, without a case, with the Republic of Ireland. The country is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, the North Sea, and the Irish Sea. The largest island, Great Britain, is connected with France by the Euro tunnel. United Kingdom is a political union of four "constituent countries": Scotland, England, Northern Ireland and Wales. The government is a parliamentary system, with headquarters in the capital city of London, and by a constitutional monarchy that has a Queen Elizabeth II as head of state. Dependencies Channel Islands of the Crown and the Isle of Man, generally are a confederation with in. The country has overseas territories, all remnants of the British Empire, which do not have large amounts of energy on Earth, thus making the greatest impact in history. As a result of the imperial era, British influence in the world can be seen in the language, culture, and judicial systems of many former colonies, such as Canada, Australia, India, and the United States. Queen Elizabeth II ends up as head of the Commonwealth and is head of state for each of the monarchies in the Commonwealth. United Kingdom is a developed country, with a nominal GDP or higher (PPC) world's largest economy. It was the first industrialized country in the world and the world leader during the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, but the economic cost of two world wars and its century in the mid-twentieth century reduced its role as leader in world affairs. The United Kingdom, however, remained an important power with economic, cultural, military and political relations, being a nuclear power, with the greater or smaller size of military spending. It is a member of the European Union, the World Trade Organization (WTO) the United Nations Community, and the United Nations for the North Atlantic (NATO). The cities that I choose whore Edinburgh, London and Cardiff.

Edinburgh

Edinburgh is Scotland's compact and upscale capital with a medieval old town and an elegant new Georgian town that includes gardens and neoclassical buildings.

The Royal Mile, lined with shops selling souvenirs, clan tartans and whiskey, runs from the castle to Holyrood Palace. Princes Street, the main shopping area, houses the 19th century Jenners Department Store and its large hall with a skylight. Summer season holds art festivals, a custom of the city, includes the International Festival of Edinburgh, known internationally, and its most peculiar brother, the Fringe. The restaurants on the edge of Leith serve from high quality local seafood to the traditional "fish and chips".

Food

Haggis

It's the most traditional delicacy of Scotland, soon also of Edinburgh. Making this dish for many people is very simple. It is necessary to get part of the stomach of a ram and add viscera, that is, liver, heart, blood cooked with enough seasoning. After this step, the leather of the stomach is sewn with the filling of the viscera and cooked. It is usually served with rice and potatoes.

Black Pudding

Maybe the name sounds more familiar to some travellers, but just the name. Black Pudding is also known as Blood Sausage. It is a smoked sausage made of coagulated blood. It is usually made with pork fat and blood, oatmeal, onion and seasonings. Sometimes it takes up barley. Scottish breakfast includes Black Pudding served with Scottish sausage, baked beans in tomato sauce, mushrooms and toasted bread. It is considered a good source of protein, with low carbohydrate. In contrast, it is high in saturated fat and cholesterol.

Porridge

It is a potato of oats flakes boiled in water, served with cold milk or cream. Can be accompanied by sweets and fruits. It's another option served at the Scottish breakfast. Porridge is also found in England and Ireland.

Food

Fish and chips

It is perhaps the greatest mark of English food. The dish is simple and consists of: fried breaded fish and chips with salt and malt vinegar. The fish used is usually cod (or other white meat) and the English fries are cut a little thicker than the American ones. Consumed in the past by the London proletariat, it used to be packed in newspapers and was only found in the streets. Today, it has acquired new clothes and can be tasted in any establishment, from the simplest to the most sophisticated.

Full English Breakfast

When you wake up, you are accustomed to eating milk, bread, yogurt and fruits, right? The British are not so bad. On special dates they start the day with the traditional English Breakfast which is certainly a bit heavier (and greasy) than that! Eggs, bacon, baked beans, fried bread, mushrooms and sausages are part of the dish that can be found at inviting prices throughout London. Try it!

Puddings

Puddings are fried cupcakes made of eggs and flours. They come as accompaniment to steak, vegetable and mashed potatoes. And for the sake of not being confused, the word pudding is also meant for sweets and for a variety of sausage made from ox or lamb blood, called black pudding.

Pokemon Go Special! Hello Europe and Mr. Mime!

This part of the blog it's going to be the special dedicated to Pokemon Go travelers Fans! And this week the first and only Mr. Mime the regional Pokemon of Europe! And of course you can find it in United Kingdom! (No, it as nothing to do with the Brexit... Beloved United Kingdom still part of Europe). As a Psychic and Fairy type, Mr. Mime is a bipedal, humanoid Pokémon with a round, white body with a magenta spot in the middle. Its light pink arms and legs are connected to its body by magenta spheres. Its knees have small, white coverings. There are magenta pads on the tips of its white fingers, and its dark blue feet curl upward at the tips. Blue growths resembling clown hair extend from the sides of its pale pink head, and there are magenta circles on its cheeks. Its jaw is curved inward, resembling the mouth of a wooden dummy. From birth, this Pokémon is an excellent pantomime. As it matures, it gains the ability to solidify air molecules by vibrating its fingertips. This ability allows it to create invisible objects with its gestures. It punishes those who interrupt its act or are not impressed by slapping them. Mr. Mime is usually very rare, but can be found in suburban areas.

And its all for now! I know it toke a bit to create this and I'm going to start another one today... I hope you enjoy and feel free to add my trainer ID; 7858 9746 4045 name SafiraStar. Enjoy your travels and catch them all!
